Challenge / Success: An Historic Building in downtown Austin and we were only allowed to work at night after the club was closed. These were a few of the challenges we faced in taking on this iconic re-roofing project. However, with lighting set up, we worked through the night for 3 nights in a row to complete the job. This was no easy task as the old timber ceiling of the bar also served as the roofing deck and the tear-off involved removing numerous layers of old tar and gravel built-up roofing plies. We got it donethough, adding more than 4” of new insulation above the deck to bring the building back up to code without interrupting a single hour of business. We love Stubb’s!
